GLOBAL PHOTO CONTEST

LOCATION: Australia

The 2023 Global Photo Contest is a chance for you to give voice to nature by sharing how you see it with others around the world. The competition is organized by The Nature Conservancy, a global environmental organization.

ELIGIBILITY:

The competition is open to all professional and amateur photographers who have reached the age of majority.

There are twelve categories:
Oceans
People and Nature
Freshwater
Lands
Mammals
Climate
Aerials
Insects and Arachnids
Plants and/or Fungi
Underwater Life
Birds and Reptiles and Amphibians

Submit your photo here. You can enter as many photos as you want.

BENEFIT:

All award winners may receive mention on The Conservancy’s digital presences, as determined by The Conservancy in its sole discretion. In addition, The Conservancy, and where applicable its corporate award provider(s), will award the following prizes:

One (1) Grand Prize winner will receive: More than $7,500 AUD ($5,000 USD) Camera kit or camera kit gift card, as determined by The Conservancy in its sole discretion.

Twelve (12) Category First Place winners (one (1) per category) will receive: More than $1,500 AUD ($1,000 USD) Amazon, Mercado Libre or Alibaba gift card as determined by The Conservancy in its sole discretion.

Twelve (12) Category Second Place winners (one (1) per category) will receive: More than $750 AUD ($500 USD) Amazon, Mercado Libre or Alibaba gift card as determined by The Conservancy in its sole discretion.

Twelve (12) Category Third Place winners (one (1) per category) will receive: More than $350 AUD ($250 USD) Amazon, Mercado Libre or Alibaba gift card as determined by The Conservancy in its sole discretion.

THE YOUTH CLIMATE JUSTICE FUND

Application Deadline: 24 September 2023.

LOCATION: Multiple Regions

The Youth Climate Justice Fund supports with core flexible funding to emerging youth climate justice collectives.

ELIGIBILITY:

Your group or collective is led by young people aged 35 years and below. In order to be eligible for a YCJF grant, the majority of your leadership must be young people or the individuals with decision making power should be aged 35 years and below.

Your group, network or collective is based in Africa; the Middle East; Asia-Pacific, South Asia; Latin America and the Caribbean; and Central, and Eastern Europe.

You believe in and exhibit inclusive organizing, collective action and intersectional movement building. 

The call is open for 4 weeks, youth climate justice groups around the globe can apply. Non-English speaking groups are welcome to reach out to Regional Leads for support in applying in their own language.

BENEFIT:

Groups can apply for a grant of up to USD 10,000, which can be used for a period of 12 months.
