2026 ECU CITY CAMPUS WELCOME BURSARY

A $5,000 bursary is available to new international students commencing an undergraduate or master’s by coursework program at ECU City Campus in Semester One or Two, 2026. Eligible students must maintain full-time enrollment (60 credit points per semester) and meet all terms and conditions. The bursary is paid in two installments of $2,500 after the census date of each of the first two semesters.

ELIGIBILITY:

To be eligible for this bursary, you must:

Be an international student (not an Australian Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident, or New Zealand Citizen);

Be studying an undergraduate or master’s by coursework program on-campus for the first time, at ECU City Campus in Semester One, 2026, or Semester Two, 2026 (excluding Bachelor of Science (Nursing) C33 and Master of Nursing (Graduate Entry) J46);

Not be in receipt of a government scholarship or industry sponsorship or ECU full scholarship for your studies; and

Enroll to study 60 credit points each semester or study period in 2026 and remain enrolled in 60 credit points post-census date of the commencing semester.

The recipient must continue to meet the eligibility guidelines and these terms and conditions at the time of applying and throughout 2025 and 2026 (as applicable).

ECU is open to prospective international students, including ECU Alumni, who have completed their original degree and received an offer to enroll in Semester One, 2026, or Semester Two, 2026, into a new degree (for example, those progressing from Bachelors to Masters courses).

BENEFIT:

A $5,000 bursary.

ALIGN FARMS AGRICULTURE SCHOLARSHIP AT THE UNIVERSITY OF MASSEY

Application Deadline: October 1st, 2026

LOCATION: New Zealand

At Align, they’re committed to building the next generation of farmers. The Align Farms Agriculture Scholarship is part of that commitment.

The scholarship pays for one year’s worth of tuition fees, up to the value of $5,000. After their year of study, the recipient will be offered a paid summer internship on one of their farms in the area they’re most interested in. And when roles become available at Align Farms, past scholarship recipients will be given first priority.

ELIGIBILITY:

Full-time undergraduate students at a New Zealand University (who won’t be receiving the government’s first-year fee-free scheme in the year following the awarding of the scholarship)

Students enrolled in a Food and Fibre-related undergraduate programme in New Zealand

Domestic or International students

Children of Align employees will be given first priority

Applications are welcome any time but applications for the year close October 1st

The recipient will be chosen on November 1st and the scholarship will begin the following February

BENEFIT:

The scholarship value is $5,000. 

The recipient will be offered a paid summer internship on one of their farms
