FESTIVAL DE L’OISEAU ET DE LA NATURE INTERNATIONAL WHITEBIRD PHOTO COMPETITION

The International Wildbird photo Competition is back for its 33rd year running. The photo competition it organizes have allowed it to obtain international recognition. Indeed, it is now one of the 10 most renowned photo competition dedicated to wildbird in Europe.

ELIGIBILITY:

This online competition is open to everybody, amateur and professional photographers, of whatever nationality.

This competition is an ethical contest. The participants guarantee that the images they submit have been shot in full compliance with laws
related to the preservation of wildlife

5 categories aiming at photographers over 18 and one specially dedicated to young photographers aged 15 to 17 years-old

Files shall be submitted in :

JPEG format

3:2 ratio with exactly 3,500 pixels on the longest side (the shortest side should be of about 2,333 pixels)

free of margin, frame or signature

BENEFIT:

A Grand Prix to the overall winner awarded with an amount of €1,500

A 1st Prize in each category awarded with an amount of €800

A 1st Prize for the category «Young Photographers» awarded with an amount of 500€

A Public Prize to the picture which has totalized the more votes from the visitors of the exhibition, awarded with an amount of €500.

Each winner will be invited to the Award Ceremony, on Saturday, 27th, April. It will be offered :

1 nights in a hotel room for two people,

2 first-class return train tickets: Paris-Abbeville-Paris, (alternatively a refund on this basis will be paid after the Festival by bank transfer).
a meal with the other winners on Saturday, 27th, April followed by a tour.
Prizes will be awarded to winners within a maximum of 9 months by bank transfer.

CALL FOR APPLICATIONS – HUMAN RIGHTS PRIZE OF THE FRENCH REPUBLIC

Applications are now open for the 2023 “Liberté-Égalité-Fraternité” Human Rights Prize of the French Republic. This Prize is awarded in recognition and support for the completion of individual or collective projects carried out in the field, in France or abroad, regardless of nationality or borders, to promote and protect human rights anywhere in the world.

ELIGIBILITY:

Applications must comply with the prize rules, which are be downloaded below and on the CNCDH website

This year’s Prize will be awarded under the theme “Defending the environment and water access”.

The application must be written in French

The 2023 Prize will be awarded in Paris around 10 December 2023 (Human Rights Day).

BENEFIT:

The five prize winners will be invited to Paris for the official ceremony. They will receive a medal and share a total sum of €70,000, awarded by the CNCDH and to be used to implement their projects.
