Earth.Org Nature and Wildlife Photo Competition 2024 is now open for submissions, where you will have opportunity showcase your work to the world, and win one of three cash prizes.
ELIGIBILITY:
Categories: EO invite explorers, adventure travellers, professional photographers and photographers working on the front line of wildlife conservation across the world to submit their photographs for the following categories:
Wildlife in Peril
Climate Action
Do submit: high-quality photographs of nature and wildlife that inspire action
Don’t submit: photographs of pets, images that are blurry or staged, beautiful landscape works that do not showcase the theme of the categories.
AI-generated photographs or photographs that have been heavily editedWILL NOT be accepted.
Entrants must submit their best 3 photographs for each category (max 6 altogether) by completing the online Entrance Form.
Entry is free.
BENEFIT:
The Winner of the Earth.Org “Overall Best Environmental Photo” 2023 will be awarded with US$500.
The Winners of the two sub-categories “Wildlife in Peril” 2023 and “Climate Action” 2023 will be awarded with US$250 each.

Established by the Research Grants Council (RGC) of Hong Kong in 2009, the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS) aims at attracting the best and brightest students in the world to pursue their PhD studies in Hong Kong’s universities.
ELIGIBILITY:
Candidates who are seeking admission as new full time PhD students in the following eight universities, irrespective of their country of origin, prior work experience and ethnic background, should be eligible to apply. Applicants should demonstrate outstanding qualities of academic performance, research ability / potential, communication and interpersonal skills, and leadership abilities.
BENEFITS:
The Fellowship provides an annual stipend of HK$331,200 (approximately US$42,460) and a conference and research-related travel allowance of HK$13,800 (approximately US$1,760) per year for each awardee for a period up to three years. 300 PhD Fellowships will be awarded in the 2024/25 academic year*.
