The Laidlaw Scholarships are intended to encourage extraordinary women with clear leadership potential to enrol in the Oxford MBA program when they would not have previously considered the qualification due to financial constraints.

ELIGIBILITY:

Open to female candidates.

Tenable at Reuben College only. All eligible applicants will be considered for the scholarship, regardless of which college (if any) you state on your offer acceptance form. If successful, you will be transferred to Reuben College to take up the scholarship.

Consideration for the scholarships will be given to those who can demonstrate:

Exceptional leadership potential in their field.

Academic excellence evidenced through degree results, GMAT or GRE score and other academic achievements.

Commitment to gender equality, leading ethically and paying it forward.

That they could not otherwise afford to do an Oxford MBA.  

Submit an MBA application and complete the Laidlaw scholarship application section of the form. This section will be visible to female candidates only.

The Laidlaw scholarship application includes a financial need assessment and an essay section. Both parts must be completed.

BENEFIT:
Either full or half MBA course fees. 

Eight full and two half-fee scholarships.

OXFORD-ORJIAKO GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP

The scholarship is funded by Dr Bryant Orjiako and builds on Saïd Business School’s mission to create opportunities for African change-makers. This gift enables the establishment of a new, fully endowed MBA scholarship, open to students coming to the school from across the African continent. 

ELIGIBILITY?

Oxford MBA applicants who are of African nationality and ordinarily resident in an African country.

A complete MBA application must be submitted by the deadline. 

Evidence of having contributed to Africa’s development, and a demonstrable intention to continue to do so after graduation.

Academic excellence, demonstrated through degree results, GMAT or GRE score, and other academic achievements. 

No additional application is needed. We will use the details you provide in your MBA application.

BENEFIT:

Full course fees and a grant for living costs of at least £19,237.
