University College Birmingham provides a scholarship scheme for all new international undergraduate and postgraduate students who meet the payment deadlines specified in the table below.

The deadlines refer to dates your payment is received by UCB and not dates you made the payments. To be eligible for the scholarship, your payment must have reached the UCB account by each deadline.

ELIGIBILITY:

To apply for this scholarship, you must fulfill the following criteria:

You must have received and accepted an offer to study in a full-time undergraduate, postgraduate, or International Foundation Diploma programme at University College Birmingham. Part-time courses, distance learning courses, or other levels of study are not eligible.

You must have overseas fee status and be paying overseas tuition fees. Home fee payers are not eligible.

To be eligible for each component of the scholarship, your payment must reach UCB accounts by the corresponding deadline, unless you have proof that you initiated the payment more than two weeks prior to the deadline.

This scholarship is available to students’ first year of study only.

You agree to provide testimonials, feature in case studies, and/or participate in marketing activities upon request.

The Early Action Scholarship will be awarded automatically to students who meet the eligibility criteria.

The EAS cannot be combined with a merit scholarship offered by UCB. The scholarship with a higher value will be awarded to you. The only exception is when you pay your tuition fee balance in full before enrollment, in which case you will be eligible for Part C of EAS together with the merit scholarship you have been awarded. The total value of any combined scholarships that you get will not exceed 100% of your first-year tuition fee.

Please note: 50% means 50% of the full tuition fee, not 50% of the fee after deducting other scholarships. For example, if the tuition fee for your course is £15,000, but you have qualified for a £2,000 scholarship, you must pay 50% of £15,000 and not 50% of £13,000 to qualify.
