ELIGIBILITY:

For: MA Textiles

Eligible fee status: Home & Overseas fee status

There are two routes to obtaining a scholarship to study at the RCA:

Academic merit

Financial need or being part of an under-represented group in higher education

Round 1 and Round 2 applications for all MA programmes, MArch, MFA, MDes, MRes & MEd will be automatically assessed for one of these scholarships, and if you are successful you will be told about this at the same time as receiving your RCA programme offer.

These scholarships will be available in the earlier rounds of applications, so the earlier you apply the more chance you have of receiving a scholarship.

Receiving this type of scholarship does not stop you from applying for other scholarships in spring 2025, which might be linked to your financial circumstances or being part of an under-represented group in higher education.

Applications for the scholarships will open in Spring 2025, and will be open to everyone who has applied and been offered a place as part of Round 1 and Round 2.

KU LEUVEN FACULTY OF ENGINEERING SCIENCE FEE WAIVER

Application Deadline: 1 March, 2025

LOCATION: Belgium

A limited number of tuition fee waivers will be granted to excellent candidates, based on their application file. Every non-EEA student will be automatically considered for a waiver basen on the academic results, so you do not need to apply for a waiver yourself.

ELIGIBILITY:

Degree type: Master’s degree

Eligible programme(s): All initial master’s programmes taught in English

Eligible Nationalities: Africa, Asia, North America, Central America, South America, Oceania and Europe

The scholarship is available to all non-EEA students.

Candidates must be a of a nationality included in the list of eligible countries above. 

Every non-EEA student will be automatically considered for a waiver based on their academic results. The selection will run simultaneously with the evaluation of your application for one of our master’s programmes. If upon receiving your Admission Letter you did not receive any news on a reduced tuition fee applying to you, then you were not selected for a waiver.

Applicants will be informed simultaneously with their application request about their request for a waiver

BENEFIT:

In the academic year 2024-2025, the tuition fee is reduced to 1425,7 EUR per year.  An updated amount for the academic year 2025-2026 will be published by the end of November 2024.

Duration: max. 2 academic years

Available fee waivers: max. 10 waivers per initial master’s program
