The ShinHan Postcard Art Contest is a space where young artists can experience the value of making art by hand in a digital age. This contest invites young artists to rediscover the postcard as an analogue format and to express their ideas, feelings, and imagination through drawing and painting. Each official postcard features a new design inspired by the theme of the contest and is made on paper suitable for painting.

ELIGIBILITY:

Open to art lovers worldwide, ages 4 to 18

Entry is FREE

Artwork Criteria:

Interpret the theme freely in your own way.
Only one artwork may be submitted per person.
Artwork size must be within 14.7 cm × 10 cm (5.78 in × 3.93 in).
Fine art paint should be used as the main medium. Other media may be used partially.
Artwork must be two-dimensional and created using oils, acrylics, watercolors, gouache, pastels, or a combination of these media.

Application Steps:
Step 1. Create a high-resolution image of your artwork by scanning it or taking a clear photograph.
Step 2. On the “Submit Your Entry” page, click the red “Submit Your Entry” button at the bottom of the page.
Step 3. On the “Terms and Conditions” page, read the terms and click “Continue.”
Step 4. Complete all required fields and upload your artwork before clicking “Submit.”
Step 5. Click the black “Submit” button at the bottom of the page to complete your entry.
Step 6. If needed, you may sign in later to edit your submission on the “Edit Your Submission” page.
