CRE[A]TE is CapCut’s first AI Festival, a global stage built to award the imagination this medium makes possible. It honours the idea, point of view, craft, and taste that bring each work to life. Submit across Film, Series, Creative, and Commercial. Selected works are reviewed by an international jury and features across CapCut’s official channels.
ELIGIBILITY:
Open to creators worldwide: independent creators, students, artists, studios, and teams. Free to enter. Work created on or after April 1, 2026, is eligible.
Tools: AI-generated or AI-assisted content must play a central role in the work, and CapCut Video Studio should play a primary role in the final submitted work. Other AI tools are welcome alongside it, but you must disclose what you used.
Social sharing: Public posting is optional. If you post your work or behind-the-scenes content on social, use #CapCutCREAITE. To be considered for CRE[AI]TE, submit through the official entry form. Public links should remain accessible through the review period.
Rights: Use only the assets, music, brands, likenesses, voices, IP, and other materials you have the rights or permissions to use. No unauthorized deepfakes, celebrity likenesses, private individuals, or voice clones without permission. You keep ownership of your work, and CapCut may showcase eligible submissions subject to the official rules.
One cash award rule: Each creator or team can receive one main cash award. If an entry qualifies for multiple cash awards, only the highest-tier cash award applies.

CapCut CRE[AI]TE will recognize 30 works in total: 10 Cash Award winners and 20 Spotlight Selections.
Cash Awards honor the top works in the main competition. Spotlight Selections recognize additional standout submissions through non-cash honors and potential showcase opportunities.
All selected creators or teams will receive 50,000 credits and 1 year of CapCut Pro.

Cash Awards: 10 works will be selected as Cash Award winners across the main competition. Cash Award winners receive the listed cash prize for their award tier, plus 50,000 credits and 1 year of CapCut Pro. Prize details, eligibility, taxes, and regional availability follow the official rules.
Spotlight Selections: 20 works across all categories may be selected as CRE[AI]TE Spotlight Selections. Spotlight Selections are non-cash honors for standout works that show original vision, strong craft, and meaningful use of AI. Selected Spotlight works may receive official festival recognition, CapCut creator support, and global showcase opportunities later this year, subject to eligibility, availability, and event programming.
