The Mama Ladder has helped mom business owners climb higher with the #HighFiveGrant. The Mama Ladder helps ambitious mom entrepreneurs grow their business. This is an international grant program. Mothers who own businesses, from any country, are welcome to apply!

ELIGIBILITY:

For fall 2023, there are four simple requirements:

You ARE A MOM! This grant is exclusively for women caregivers with human child(ren) of all ages. If your children are adults, we say: “Once a mom, always a mom.” This grant also welcomes first-time expecting moms, stepmoms, and foster moms.

You own at least 50% of a for-profit product or service-based business and are serious about growth.

You can verify earning business revenue in the past 12 months.

You know the WHY behind your business, and will share it with the world. (See the #HighFiveGrant examples!)

We are specifically seeking companies registered in one of UNICEF’s programme countries that have impressive working prototypes and a commitment to Open Source licensing

UNICEF’s Venture Fund is currently looking to invest in companies that are developing software solutions using frontier technologies such as blockchain, drones, data science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or extended reality to strengthen systems for health, including mental health.

BENEFIT:

UNICEF will offer up to US$100K in equity-free funding for early stage, for-profit technology start-ups that can improve the lives of children.
