STOCKHOLM UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME

LOCATION: Sweden

The Scholarship Scheme at Stockholm University is aimed at especially qualified students and covers the whole tuition fee for a Master’s programme at Stockholm University. This means that students will need to cover their living costs.

ELIGIBILITY:

To be eligible for the scholarship, a student must be: 

A citizen from a country outside of the EU/EEA/Switzerland and be required to pay tuition fees for studies.

Admitted to a Master’s programme at Stockholm University in the first (international) admission round.

The selection will be based on the academic merits of the applicants, and priority will be given to students with Stockholm University as their first choice on universityadmissions.se.

When the Notification of Selection Results is published, eligible students will be sent an electronic application form to the email address listed on their University Admissions account.

The scholarship recipients and other applicants will be informed of the results by the end of April.

The Scholarship Scheme covers the whole tuition fee

UNIL MASTER’S SCHOLARSHIP

Application Deadline: The academic year 2027/2028 will open in September 2026, and the deadline will be 1 November 2026.

LOCATION: Switzerland

Unil awards around ten excellence scholarships each year, exclusively to students who have graduated from a foreign university and whose academic results are of a very high standard.

ELIGIBILITY:

The list of all eligible master’s degrees at Unil can be found here.

Hold a foreign university degree recognized as equivalent to a Swiss university bachelor’s before starting the Master’s programme at Unil.

Have achieved outstanding academic results during your studies.

Have a minimum language level of C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR):

French for programmes taught in French

English for programmes taught in English (Check the programme page and the FAQ under “What language level is required for the chosen Master’s programme?”)

Not be currently enrolled at Unil.

Have paid the administrative fee of CHF 200 (see section: application contents).

Scholarship recipients are exempt from the standard course registration fees.  Only the semester fees of CHF 80 remain payable.

For candidates who want to apply for a Master in Finance, Psychology, Arts, or Nursing, additional conditions apply that must be scrupulously fulfilled. You can find these conditions on the Admissions Service (SII) page.

BENEFIT:

The Unil Master’s Scholarship is awarded for the minimum statutory period of the Master’s programme and amounts to CHF 1,600 per month (see the general conditions below for further details).
