WESTERN ILLINOIS UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL GRADUATE COMMITMENT SCHOLARSHIP

LOCATION: USA

The University of Western Illinois invites exceptional international students to apply for the International Graduate Commitment Scholarship programme. Scholarship only applied to WIU tuition. No cash refund is available.

ELIGIBILITY:

F-1 students are eligible

Must be a newly admitted graduate, non-sponsored international student enrolling to WIU for the first time.

Minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (confirmed by WIU)

Scholarship eligibility is determined at the time of evaluation for admission

Applicants will not be reconsidered for scholarships after the point of admission if additional coursework is completed. (IE, an in progress degree is completed AFTER admission is granted to WIU). These scholarships cannot be earned after arriving on campus. You may choose to wait until completion to submit your application if you believe it would be to your advantage.

Renewable for a second year with a 3.0 GPA maintained

Continuous enrollment required (Prorated to $650 per 3 SH if an immigration exemption has been awarded for the final semester)

50% will be awarded fall semester and 50% will be awarded spring semester

Students enrolled in online studies are eligible. Full-time continuous enrollment is required. Full time enrollment for graduate students is a minimum of 9 semester hours  per semester each fall and spring semester.

Students receiving a graduate assistantship are not eligible for this award

BENEFIT:

$4,000 per year, available fall and spring semester

MASSEY UNIVERSITY ALISTAIR BETTS POSTGRADUATE, MASTERS AND RESEARCH SCHOLARSHIPPROGRAMS

LOCATION: New Zealand

The Alistair Betts Scholarship provides financial support to students who undertake research in an international agribusiness topic that enhances New Zealand exports.

ELIGIBILITY:

Applicants must be studying postgraduate agribusiness at Massey University and undertaking research on a topic that affects New Zealand exports.

Preference may be given to full time students, though self-funded part time students will also be considered.

The award of the scholarship will be based on the relevance of the research and how the research project aligns with international marketing of agribusiness products.

The scholarship, may be held, in conjunction with other scholarships, bursaries or awards, as long as those scholarships, bursaries or awards permit co-tenure. The selection panel has the right to refrain from making an award if there are no suitableapplicants and its decision is final.

BENEFIT:

The value of the scholarship will be determined each year from the interest earned on the capital and is typically $5,000. The tenure is for one academic year.
