UNIVERSITY OF STRATHCLYDE GLASGOW FACULTY OF ENGINEERING DEAN’S INTERNATIONAL EXCELLENCE AWARDS

The University of Strathclyde Glasgow offers Dean’s International Excellence Awards to applicants joining postgraduate taught courses in January 2024.

ELIGIBILITY:

In order to be considered for a Dean’s International Excellence Award, students are required to demonstrate academic excellence (usually a UK first class undergraduate degree or international equivalent), and the potential both to make a significant contribution to the Strathclyde community during their studies and in their chosen profession upon graduation (assessed by information provided in the scholarship application form). 

The Faculty of Engineering’s International Scholarships are only open for self-funded, international (non-EU) fee-paying applicants enrolling on a full-time course.  Those who receive full sponsorship from a government office or embassy are not eligible to apply

Applications are now being accepted and completed application forms should be submitted as early as possible

In order to be considered for a scholarship an applicant must hold an offer to study a full-time course in the 2023/24 academic year

Applicants need to only submit one application and will be considered for all levels of postgraduate taught scholarships.

BENEFIT:

These scholarships are worth £5,000 and £8,000 and will be offered to exceptional applicants at postgraduate taught level only.

UNIVERSITY OF STRATHCLYDE GLASGOW FACULTY OF ENGINEERING POSTGRADUATE TAUGHT INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP

The University of Strathclyde Glasgow offers a number of scholarships for the applicants joining postgraduate taught courses in January 2024, as well as for the postgraduate research applicants joining the Faculty of Engineering in academic year 2023/24. 

ELIGIBILITY:

All self-funded, international (non-EU) fee-paying offer holders with strong academic qualifications are encouraged to apply. Please note – you must hold an offer to a full-time postgraduate taught degree course starting in January 2024 before your scholarship application will be considered. If applying for a postgraduate research course you must start during the 2023/24 academic year.

To be considered for the Faculty of Engineering International Scholarship applicants should have a 2:1 (or equivalent) in their undergraduate degree.
