ART ON CLIMATE INTERNATIONAL ILLUSTRATION COMPETITION

The “Art on Climate” International Illustration Competition is now inviting talented illustrators to craft artworks that address the theme of climate change. The competition seeks to act as a platform for the exchange of innovative ideas and practical solutions to address climate change, and to inspire the public to proactively make a change in their daily life in response to the global challenge.

ELIGIBILITY:

any person aged 18 or above*, from any location, is eligible to participate. Aged 18 or above on 19 May 2024

Participants are invited to submit original works on the theme of “climate change”. Participants should draw inspiration from one or more of the following topics as a starting point of their artworks listed on the program website

Each participant may submit up to a maximum of three artworks.

The submitted artwork(s) must not have been previously published or used for any other purpose, and must not have been previously awarded or currently participating in other competition selections.

No signatures, words, symbols or pictures that identify the participants may be placed on the submitted artwork(s).

The artwork(s) must be in a flat image and created in colour.

The artwork(s) can be created using any medium, including painting, computer software, and mixed media. However, artworks generated by artificial intelligence are not accepted. The use of photographs and clip art is prohibited.

Should be in A3 size (297mm x 420mm), in either horizontal or vertical format.

Must be uploaded in JPG format, with a resolution of no less than 300 dpi, and the total size of each entry should be no more than 10MB.

Each artwork should be accompanied by a short description (minimum 30 words, maximum 100 words).

BENEFIT:

Champion: e-certificate and prize of €2,000

1st runner-up: e-certificate and prize of €1,500

2nd runner-up: e-certificate and prize of €1,000

Merit: e-certificate and prize of €150

Champion, 1st runner-up, 2nd runner-up and Merit winners will receive a customised award certificate by email.

The winning artworks and selected other works will be put on display in a virtual exhibition.

53 winning artworks will be selected based on the 100-point scale that judges used for rating.

The three artworks that received the highest number of points will be ranked as Champion, 1st runner-up and 2nd runner-up accordingly, whereas the other 50 selected winning artworks will be ranked as Merit.

EMBRACING OUR DIFFERENCE ARTWORK EXHIBIT INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION

Artists possess a powerful tool to evoke social change. Without uttering a single word, they can enlighten, educate and affect change around the world. Embracing Our Differences invites you to participate in creating a society where inclusion is embraced and individuality is celebrated.

Become a part of this change by submitting your original art to Embracing Our Differences and its annual international outdoor juried art exhibit.

ELIGIBILITY:

Artists, professionals, amateurs, students – everyone can participate. National and international submissions are encouraged. There is no submission or entry fee and there is no limit on the number of submissions.

There is no restriction on entering art which has been submitted to previous competitions.

You may not submit art or quotations to our annual competitions through this website or any related website unless you are 13 years old or over. Your submission to our annual competitions through our website or any related website indicates confirmation that you are at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of 13, you may still enter your art or quotation by submitting it through the mail with parental consent.

BENEFIT:

A total of $6,000 (US) will be presented in the form of three separate awards – $2,000 each for “Best-in-Show Adult;” “Best-in-Show Student;” and “People’s Choice.” The “People’s Choice” award will be determined by visitors to the exhibit.
