WORLD TRADE ORGANIZATION INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME

The WTO Internship Programme provides an opportunity for post-graduate students from WTO member and observer countries to gain valuable experience from working at the WTO. The internship programmes is designed to increase the diversity of the WTO.

ELIGIBILITY:

A candidate must:

be a national of a WTO member state or a country or customs territory engaged in accession negotiations

have completed his/her undergraduate studies in a relevant discipline and have completed at least one year of his/her postgraduate studies be at least 21 years old and a maximum of 30 years old during the internship

BEENFIT:

Interns receive a daily allowance of CHF 60 (including week-ends and official holidays falling within the selected period). Travel expenses to and from Geneva cannot be paid by the WTO, and such travel is not covered by the Organization’s insurance.

ZHENGZHOU UNIVERSITY PRESIDENT SCHOLARSHIP

To enhance international exchange & cooperation and attract excellent international students  to study in Zhengzhou University, the President Scholarship (hereinafter referred to as the scholarship ) has been set up to sponsor excellent international postgraduate students to pursue their degree, especially the doctor degree, in Zhengzhou University. The duration of scholarship is 4 years. 

ELIGIBILITY:

Non-Chinese citizen, physically healthy, without crime record;

Abide by the laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China as well as regulations of ZZU;

Good learning attitude and witha solid academic foundation and intellectual potential to become a highly specialized researcher or expert.

Applicants must not be a registered PhD student in Chinese universities at the time of application.

Requirements for applicant’s degree and age:

Applicants for doctoral program should have an excellent academic record in a master program ( for Pakistan applicants, should be 18 years master) or higher degree or equivalent degree, and aged less than 40 years old;

Requirements for applicant’s language competence:

Applicants for doctoral programs in Chinese should be HSK 5 scored 210

Applicants for doctoral programs in English should be IELTS 6.5 or higher if they are from non-English speaking countries.
