MTN FOUNDATION MUSON MUSIC SCHOLARS PROGRAM (FULLY FUNDED)

Since inception in 2006 and in partnership with the Musical Society of Nigeria (MUSON), the premium music school in Nigeria, the MTN Foundation has been providing fully funded scholarships to talented young Nigerians annually to acquire an internationally recognized Diploma in Music.

ELIGIBILITY:

The MTN MUSON Music Scholars Programme is open to eligible talented young Nigerians who wish to improve their skills in music.

Interested candidates should have the following eligibility criteria:

Minimum academic qualification: General Certificate of Education (GCE) ordinary level or Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) with credits in five (5) subjects, including English Language, in not more than 2 sittings.

Music Practical and Theory: Grade five (5) or higher pass certificate of the MUSON School of Music or any other music examining body recognized by the MUSON School, such as MUSON, ABRSM, or Trinity (London).

Eligible age criteria are 18–35 years.

FULLY FUNDED WEIDENFELD-HOFFMANN SCHOLARSHIPS AND LEADERSHIP PROGRAMME

In partnership with the Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Trust, the Oxford Saïd provides a contribution towards the funding package offered to scholars in the MBA programme. 

Managed by the Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Trust, the Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholarships and Leadership Programme cultivates the leaders of tomorrow.

It provides students from developing and emerging economies with a fully-funded scholarship, combined with a comprehensive programme of leadership development, long-term mentoring, and networking. The Leadership Programme is a unique part of these scholarships.

ELIGIBILITY:

Visit the University’s Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholarships and Leadership Programme web page to view eligibility criteria. 

Applicants should be intending to return to their country of ordinary residence on completion of their studies. You should be able to demonstrate a connection between your MBA and your long-term career objectives, explaining how you see your professional work contributing to the improvement of public life in your country of origin, or at a wider regional or international level. 

To apply by the deadline, candidates must:

Submit a complete MBA or MFE application.

Tick the ‘Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholarships and Leadership Programme’ checkbox in the ‘Funding’ section of the programme application.

Upload the Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholarships Statement form as part of the programme application.

Selection Process: Scholarship application forms will be reviewed after each admissions stage.

Applicants will receive an update on the status of their scholarship application shortly after admissions decisions have been made.

Final shortlisting will take place in late March, with selected candidates invited to interview in late April or early May.
