ONE FUTURE CONFERENCE 2027, TORONTO, CANADA

Canada’s leading international leadership conference — now in its third edition. Following two successful international editions, the One Future Conference returns to Canada in 2027, bringing its largest and most ambitious gathering yet.

ELIGIBILITY:

The conference will be held from 12 to 15 May 2027 at the Residence & Conference Centre, Downtown Toronto, Canada.

Applications are open to individuals aged 17–47 years from all countries and nationalities. Participants from all academic and professional backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

The One Future Conference 2027 is an international leadership conference bringing together approximately 300 young leaders, students, professionals, entrepreneurs, researchers, and changemakers from around the world for four days of learning, collaboration, networking, and leadership development in Toronto, Canada.

Students, Young Professionals, Entrepreneurs, Researchers, Academics, Civil Society Leaders, Public Servants, Policy Professionals, NGO Representatives, Community Leaders, social entrepreneurs, and Youth Advocates are eligible to apply

No specific academic background is required.

Applications for the Fully Funded and Partially Funded categories are evaluated by the One Future Conference selection committee based on factors including leadership potential, motivation, application responses, achievements, and the overall strength of the applicant pool. Geographic and gender diversity are also considered to ensure broad international representation.

Each category offers different benefits to suit the needs of participants. Eligible participants receive an Official Visa Invitation Letter, supporting documentation, and guidance throughout the visa application process. Please note that visa decisions remain solely at the discretion of the Government of Canada.

2026 INTERNATIONAL ANTI-CORRUPTION YOUNG JOURNALIST CONFERENCE

Transparency International would like to invite young journalists from all over the world who are passionate about fighting corruption to apply for our 2026 programme. They have 10 places available for journalists in the early stages of their professional career to join us at the International Anti-Corruption Conference in the Dominican Republic from 1-4 December 2026.

ELIGIBILITY:

The application is open to young journalists from all over the world 

Participants must be proficient in English, under 35 years old, and be prepared to develop at least one report and to secure coverage in a media outlet after the event.

You must be currently working as a journalist, with demonstrable experience of reporting on social, political, or economic issues. Journalists from digital, print, broadcast, or multimedia backgrounds are all welcome to apply.

You must be passionate about fighting corruption and committed to learning more about Transparency International and the issues we work on.

As part of a mentored programme participants will have the chance to join the conference discussions, interview leaders and activists, and build their knowledge of the latest trends in the anti-corruption space.

They are committed to creating an inclusive work environment where diversity is valued and where there is equality of opportunity. They actively seek a diverse applicant pool and therefore welcome applications from qualified candidates of all regions, countries, cultures, and backgrounds.

Selection for the young journalist programme is made on a competitive basis, and they do not discriminate on the basis of national origin, race, colour or ethnic background, religious belief, sex, gender identity and expression or sexual orientation, marital or family status, age or ability. They kindly ask applicants to refrain from including in their application information relating to the above as well as from attaching photos.

Successful participants are expected to develop a report linked to the topics from the conference and to independently pitch it to a media outlet. In addition, participants will be required to adhere to the conditions set out in a terms of reference and code of conduct.

BENEFIT:

The programme includes an economy return flight to Punta Cana, the Dominican Republic and 5 nights’  accommodation plus breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the conference hotel (arriving 30 November, departing 5 December 2026). Alcoholic drinks are not included. Transparency International will also reimburse visa processing costs, agreed upon in advance and on submission of receipts. Any other travel costs are participants’ responsibility.
