EXPATRIO SCHOLARSHIP IN GERMANY FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS 2025

The Expatrio Scholarship is designed to help international students overcome financial difficulties and support them in their new German life. All you need to do is submit a video answering the following question by the deadline of the 30th of September, 2025.

ELIGIBILITY:

The scholarship is open to students from all over the world who meet the following criteria:

You apply for the Expatrio Value Package by the 30th of September 2025.

You will start your studies in the Winter Semester 2025.

You will arrive in Germany and activate your Blocked Account and Health Insurance by 31st October 2025.

Submit a max. 2-minute video via our application form answering the following question: How will your studies in Germany help you make a positive impact for others?

Show us your passion.  Everyone has a fair chance, regardless of video quality or editing skills.

Prefer to do the video in your own language?  No problem! Your video can be in any language as long as you use English or German subtitles.

Please note: The scholarship cannot be used to fund your Blocked Account. The prizes will be awarded only after you have arrived in Germany.

Video submission guidelines:

Your video answers the above question in either English or German or is recorded in another language with English or German subtitles.

Your video is no longer than 2 minutes, is in MP4 format, and does not include any copyrighted content.

The deadline for submitting your video submission is 30th September 2025.

BENEFIT:

First prize: €15,000

Second prize: €12,000

Third prize: €9,000

Prizes for winners from 4th to 10th place include rent paid for 6 months, a new laptop, German language lessons, and semester contribution fees.

INTERNATIONAL COMPUTER SCIENCE COMPETITION

The ICSC is a global educational program that empowers students to challenge their logical thinking, deepen their computer science knowledge, and jumpstart their journey into the world of technology.

ELIGIBILITY:

Open to all students. Participation is free.

High school and university students of all grades and from all countries are invited to participate. We have three age categories:

Junior: 10th Grade and below (< 16 years)

Youth: 11th to 13th Grade (< 19 years)

Senior: 1st Year College/University and higher (or ≥ 19 years)

All participants receive the same set of problems, but the passing criteria vary by age group. You need curiosity, a drive to learn, pen and paper, and access to a computer. English reading comprehension is helpful for research problems.

BENEFIT:

Showcase your abilities and compete for cash prizes, certificates, and global recognition. The prizes are worth upwards of 1000 USD. Awards include:

1st, 2nd, 3rd Cash Prizes for each age category.

National Awards for top performers from each country.

Bronze, Silver, and Gold Honours for Finalists.

Special Honours for outstanding submissions.

Official Participation Certificates for all participants.
