JACOBS FOUNDATION GLOBAL RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM

The Jacobs Foundation Research Fellowship Program is a globally competitive fellowship program for early and mid-career researchers whose work is dedicated to improving the learning and development of children and youth worldwide. The relevant disciplines include, but are not limited to, education sciences, psychology, economics, sociology, behavioral science, computer science, pedagogy, linguistics, neurosciences, and the science of learning.

ELIGIBILITY:

The ideal candidate

has obtained his/her PhD or equivalent degree within the past 10 years;

is employed at an institution of higher education or research institute;

is conducting high-quality research in an area of interest to the Jacobs Foundation;

is committed to engaging with the Jacobs Foundation and the Fellowship Network and contributing to the Foundation’s activities

The Jacobs Foundation is especially interested in the following questions, which are aligned with our research agenda:

How do variations in individuals and contextual factors influence learning and development and learning outcomes?

How can we design for learner variability at scale to enable all children to reach their potential as learners and in life?

How can we produce interventions that reduce growing inequalities in children’s learning and overcome disparities in the impacts of digital technologies?

How can we address the role of data to help learners and teachers make informed decisions about their learning and teaching?

INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION FOR THE ANNOUNCING POSTER FOR THE XXXIX EXHIBITION OF CARRIAGES AT THE SEVILLE FAIR 2025

LOCATION: Spain

The Royal Carriage Driving Club of Andalusia (R.C.E.A.) https://rcea.net/ announces this competition, in collaboration with the Grupo Azvi Foundation, to select the poster for the XXXIX Carriage Driving Exhibition at the Royal Cavalry School of Seville.

ELIGIBILITY:

Entry is free

Anyone who wishes to participate in this contest, Spanish or foreign, individually or as a group, may do so.

Technique: The painting technique may be free (oil, acrylic, mixed, graphite, charcoal, watercolor, tempera, ink, etc.), without allowing retouching or digital reproduction or photographic reproduction. The work may be done on canvas, cardboard, paper, board, etc. mounted in all cases on a frame or rigid support suitable for hanging.

Size: The posters must be vertical and 100x70cm in size. They can also be submitted in 100x73cm, which is a standard size for frames. The author does not have to include any logo or anagram in the work, but the jury will consider including the following elements in the composition and in the established size:

The logos of: Seville City Council, Royal Carriage Club of Andalusia and Royal Cavalry School of Seville

Date of celebration and day (May 4, 2025)

The competition rules will be published on the notice board of the Real Club de Enganches de Andalucía and on the website: http://www.rcea.net. Likewise, the widest possible dissemination will be given to the competition websites as well as websites related to Enganches, schools of Arts and Crafts and exhibition halls in Seville. The call for entries will also be announced in national and local newspapers.

1st Prize: endowed with 4,000 euros for the winning work of the poster.
Second Prize: endowed with 1,000 euros
