The scholarship is awarded one (1) semester at a time. Prior to each semester, the scholarship holder’s study performance is checked in LADOK. The scholarship holder must have completed the course credits specified below in order to receive scholarship for the next semester. The scholarship holder’s course credits must be registered in LADOK no later than 1 of December for the start of the spring semester or no later than 1 of May for the start of the autumn semester:

Prior to semester no. 2 = at least 7.5 credits.

Prior to semester no. 3 = at least 37.5 credits.

Prior to semester no. 4 = at least 67.5 credits.

Prior to semester no. 5 = at least 97.5 credits.

Prior to semester no. 6 = at least 127.5 credits.

If a scholarship holder has not fulfilled the required criteria for accomplished study results (see above) when the study performance is checked for the upcoming semester, the scholarship will not be awarded the scholarship for that semester. Failure to fulfill the required criteria for accomplished study results means that the scholarship holder will have to pay by them self in full for the living expenses/tuition fee for that semester.

If the scholarship holder, at a later stage, completes the stipulated number of credits specified above at the point when the study performance is checked prior to a semester, the scholarship holder can receive the scholarship for the semester that the applicable criteria are met. However, a missed scholarship period will not be awarded afterwards.

The application should provide the University with a Curriculum Vitae, a motivation letter and a letter of recommendation. The motivation letter and the letter of recommendation must contain no more than 600 words each.
