CRANFIELD NIGERIA SCHOLARSHIP (ENVIRONMENT, AGIFOOD, WATER AND ENERGY)

There are a range of Cranfield Scholarships available to students applying from Nigeria to study full-time on one of our Environment, Agrifood, Water, or Energy MSc courses. These funding opportunities are available to recognize academic success and enable you to enroll at Cranfield University to continue your studies as a postgraduate student.

ELIGIBILITY:

Full-time students who are:

A national of Nigeria

An overseas fee payer

Studying one of our Environment, Agrifood, Energy or Water MSc courses.

You do not need to apply for this scholarship. You will be considered based on your previous degree outcome.

If you have completed your studies, and are eligible, the scholarship will be confirmed in your offer letter.

If you are still studying, you will need to provide Admissions with your final degree result.  You will then receive a revised offer letter which will include the scholarship value.  

Please allow at least 2 weeks for us to confirm the award of the scholarship, following submission of your degree results.

BENEFIT:

If you achieved a minimum of a first-class UK Bachelor honours degree, or international equivalent, you will be eligible for a scholarship of 30% of the course fee. This equates to £5,400 – £8,375 depending on the course.

If you achieved an upper second-class UK Bachelor’s honours degree or international equivalent, you will be eligible for a scholarship of 20% of the course fee. This equates to £3,600 – £5,585 depending on the course.

UNIVERSITY OF MELBOURNE HUMAN RIGHTS SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship is offered to domestic or international students who are enrolling in a graduate research degree and undertaking research in the field of Human Rights.

ELIGIBILITY:

Study level: Graduate research

Student type: Domestic and international students

Study stage type: Future study, Current study

To be considered for this scholarship, you must:

have applied for and meet the entry requirements for a master’s or Doctorate by research degree for commencement in the year of award

intend to undertake graduate research in the field of Human Rights

have not already completed a research qualification at the same or higher level as the course for which a scholarship is sought

not have previously received a graduate research scholarship

Eligible applicants are selected on the basis of academic merit, the area of study in and level of commitment to human rights, and the strength of supporting documentation.

This scholarship is subject to the Graduate Research Scholarship Terms & Conditions

The scholarship will be available for awarding in 2026.

You must submit an online application and address your commitment to the peaceful advancement of respect for human rights that extends beyond academic studies (such as voluntary work and/or work experience) and how your proposed research will further your understanding of human rights and enable you to contribute to the human rights field.

BENEFIT:

Living allowance of $43,500 per year pro rata (2025 full-time study rate) for up to 2 years for students undertaking a Master by research degree or up to 3.5 years for students undertaking a Doctoral degree. The living allowance may be indexed annually and includes limited paid sick, maternity and parenting leave.

Full fee offset for up to two years for students undertaking a Masters by Research degree or up to four years for students undertaking a doctoral degree.

Relocation grant of $2,000 for students moving from States or Territories outside Victoria or $3,000 for students moving from outside Australia.

Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) Single Membership for international students who require a student visa to study in Australia
