Monash International Tuition Scholarships (MITS) are provided by Monash University to support international students undertaking Research Doctorate and Research Masters degrees at a Monash campus in Australia.

ELIGIBILITY:

You must be an International student

Meet Monash’s competitive scholarship selection process requirements, and

Meet Monash’s English language proficiency requirements.

This scholarship is also available to students undertaking Joint Research Awards when Monash University is the home institution.

Monash scholarships are highly competitive and are awarded based on academic excellence, research outputs, and prior research experience.

If you are awarded a MITS, it’s important to familiarize yourself with the associated conditions and benefits as outlined in the policy and procedures.

Graduate research scholarship applications are submitted at the same time as your course application, unless you are already enrolled. Whether you are a new applicant or a current student, the myApp Portal is used for both course admission and scholarship applications. You do not need to select specific scholarships; eligible applicants are automatically considered for all available graduate research scholarships.

BENEFIT:

The Monash International Tuition Scholarship covers the cost of:

Course tuition fees; and

A single Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) policy.

The NAMA Foundation International Scholarship is a strategic postgraduate initiative in collaboration with King Saud University, aimed at empowering future Muslim leaders through advanced education in engineering, technology, and artificial intelligence.

ELIGIBILITY:

The programme prioritises high-impact disciplines, including:
Electrical, Industrial, and Mechanical Engineering
Software Engineering
Computer Engineering
Computer Science
IT & Information Systems
Data Science & Artificial Intelligence

This scholarship is designed for non-Saudi postgraduate applicants who demonstrate strong academic standing (minimum Very Good), meet language proficiency requirements (IELTS/TOEFL if required), and fulfill medical and documentation requirements.

Through this initiative, NAMA seeks to strengthen long-term academic capacity within Muslim communities by supporting talented students to pursue Master’s and PhD studies at a globally recognized institution.

The applicant must hold the appropriate academic qualification:
Bachelor’s degree for Master’s applicants
Master’s degree for PhD applicants
with a minimum grade of “Very Good.”
The applicant must meet the language proficiency requirements of the programme.
The applicant must pass the medical examination and submit a police clearance certificate, if required.
All academic certificates and official documents must be properly attested according to regulations.
Additional requirements may apply depending on the programme or university regulations.
For external scholarships, applications must be submitted through the “Study in Saudi Arabia” platform, as it is the officially approved platform for admitting international students.
Applicants must ensure that all required conditions are fulfilled and documents are submitted correctly to enable processing for visa issuance.
Applicants must comply with all application requirements announced on the Study in Saudi Arabia platform.
The applicant must be non-Saudi and not residing in Saudi Arabia at the time of application.
