DELOITTE ONE YOUNG WORLD SCHOLARSHIP

LOCATION: Canada

The scholarships are intended for young leaders focused on tackling these challenges, by either reducing the causes and effects of climate change, or improving the education, skills, and access to opportunities, in their communities, countries, or the world at large.

ELIGIBILITY:

Aged 18 – 30*

Nationals of all countries will be eligible to apply for this scholarship, but projects must be based where Deloitte has a presence

Evidenced commitment to delivering positive change

Demonstrated capacity for leadership

Understanding of key local and/or global issues

Track record of generating impactful and innovative solutions to address either climate and environmental challenges, or education and skills-based challenges

BENEFIT:

Access to the One Young World Summit 2024 in Montreal.

Travel restrictions permitting

Hotel accommodation in a private room between 18 and 21 (inclusive) September, 2024

The cost of travel to and from Montreal (economy class)

Catering which includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner (provided by the hotel and during the Summit)

Ground transportation between Summit venues

Participation in Deloitte-hosted sessions for their delegation in the lead-up to and during the Summit, and a Deloitte “buddy”

INSIGHT COLLABORATIVE FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM

LOCATION: USA

The Insight Fellowship allows exceptional individuals to grow professionally and personally as they study and promote conflict management at non-profits they choose outside of their home country. Global citizens are eligible to apply. 

ELIGIBILITY:

To be eligible for the Fellowship, you must be:

A graduate of an accredited college or university or set to graduate prior to the start of the Fellowship.

Committed to serving 12 consecutive months from the start of the Fellowship. – Dedicated to fulfilling the objectives of the Fellowship program, following the Fellowship Principles and willing to pledge to raise the funds required to ‘refill the pot’ for the next fellow.

Fluent in English.

Experience related to the study or practice of conflict management or alternative dispute resolution is preferred, but not essential.

BENEFIT:

The Fellowship includes a US $30,000 expense allowance for the entire year.Each Fellow pledges to ‘refill the pot’ for the next fellow through fundraising and sponsorship by the end of the calendar year in which their Fellowship ends, primarily during their first placement in Concord.
