HOSH IBRAHIM AFRICAN MASTERS OF PUBLIC POLICY SCHOLARSHIP

The Hosh Ibrahim African Scholarship is awarded to applicants ordinarily resident in Africa and studying in the School of Public Policy. Up to two awards are made each year. 

ELIGIBILITY:

Program: The Master of Public Public Policy (MPP) 

Applicants must be ordinarily resident in Africa.

Previous academic excellence, evidenced by grades from previous academic study and supported by references from previous professors

A commitment to responding to the public policy challenges of Africa, whether at a national, regional or continental scale 

Preference will be given to those applicants who would otherwise lack the financial means to study at the LSE School of Public Policy.

Applicants who wish to apply for an SPP scholarship must submit a complete programme application by Monday 20 January 2025 and complete LSE’s Graduate Financial Support Application (GFSA) form via the Graduate Application Portal by Friday 31 January 2025.  

BENEFIT:

Funding is available for tuition fees only.

MÄLARDALEN UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME

Application Deadline: 3 February 2025.

LOCATION: Sweden

Every year Mälardalen University offers a limited number of scholarships to students applying for a Master’s programme with the institution as their first choice.

ELIGIBILITY:

Please note, if your application for scholarship is to be considered you must have applied for the programme at Mälardalen University your first choice and submitted supporting documentation within deadlines published on Universityadmissions. In addition the application fee must have been paid in time.

The scholarship is aimed at especially qualified students coming from countries outside of EU/EEA/Switzerland and who are required to pay tuition fees. The scholarship is NOT open for students from the twelve countries with which Sweden has long-term development cooperation (Bangladesh, Bolivia, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Kenya, Mali, Mozambique, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia). Students from these countries should instead apply for the Swedish Institute Study Scholarship.

Deadline for supporting documents for the application and Scholarship application is 3 February 2025. 

Notification of scholarships granted are sent by email between 28-31 March. Mälardalen University will use the same email address as used on University Admissions.

Application for the MDU Scholarship

BENEFIT:

The scholarship will cover 100% of the tuition fee of the programme as long as you follow the normal study plan (minimum 22.5 credits/semester, minimum 45 credits/academic year).
