AFRICAN WATER CORRIDOR MASTER’S SCHOLARSHIP, FACULTY OF CEG, TU DELFT

Starting in 2025-2026, the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geosciences (CEG) will offer the African Water Corridor Scholarship for two excellent Sub-Saharan Africa students in the Master programme Environmental Engineering, track Water Resources Engineering.

TU Delft is proud to establish the African Water Corridor Scholarship for talented and ambitious MSc students from Sub-Saharan Africa. 

ELIGIBILITY:

Excellent Sub-Saharan Africa applicants admitted to the two-year MSc programme Environmental Engineering, track Water Resources Engineering.

With a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 80 percent or higher of the scale maximum in the bachelor’s degree from an internationally renowned university outside The Netherlands.
 
Students from any of the following regions: Sub-Saharan Africa

You can upload your reference letters during your MSc application (as one PDF document), according to the indicated requirements

Only students who have been granted a scholarship will be informed by TU Delft via email before April 2025. 

Receiving the scholarship is conditional on the student fulfilling all admission criteria.

BENEFIT:

The scholarship comprises full tuition fees for this 2-year TU Delft CEG Master programme based on the statutory fee or institutional rate and contribution for the living expenses.

DALHOUSIE UNIVERSITY KILLAM PREDOCTORAL SCHOLARSHIP LEVEL (MASTER’S) 1 AND LEVEL 2 (DOCTORAL)

Dalhousie awards Killam Predoctoral Scholarships on a competitive basis to outstanding graduate students in thesis-based programs (Master’s or Doctoral level) in any discipline in the sciences, engineering, humanities, and social sciences. Candidates are selected from the Harmonized Scholarship Process based on departmental support and the results of the university-level review process.

ELIGIBILITY:

Master’s students may hold a Killam Scholarship for up to 24 months (but not past the end of the second year of your program).  

PhD students may hold a Killam scholarship for up to 36 months, potentially extended to up to 48 months if you are successful in obtaining a Tri-agency doctoral scholarship during the Killam award period

Awards are open to both Canadian and international students

If you are applying for a Master’s level award, you must not yet have begun your Master’s program to be eligible to apply.

If you are applying for a PhD level award, you must have spent less than 24 months in your doctoral program by May 1st of the award year to be eligible to apply. Note: If you have transferred or intend to transfer from a Master’s to a PhD without completing your Master’s, your time-in-program begins as of the transfer date.

·You must also apply for funding from relevant provincial, national and/or international agencies, such as NSERC, SSHRC, CIHR, ResearchNS, NSGS etc.

Applications are conducted through the Harmonized Scholarship Process.

If offered an award, you must take it up in the earliest possible term.

BENEFIT:

Value: Up to $42,000 per year, plus $2,500 toward international tuition fees and relocation allowance, if applicable
