ELIGIBILITY:
Level of study: Research
Duration: 3.5 years – Doctoral degree
2 years – Master’s degree
Applicants must be full-time and meet the admission requirements of the required HDR degree to be eligible (first or upper second-class Honours degree, Master’s degree by research, or equivalent).
Applicants must possess a first-class honors degree, H2A (or equivalent), or a master’s with a significant thesis component.

The School of Chemical Engineering of the University of Adelaide is pleased to offer two prestigious PhD positions focused on transport phenomena in porous media. This research, grounded in applied mathematics, involves the development of exact and asymptotic solutions to non-linear partial differential equations. The work has significant industrial and environmental implications, including applications in CO₂ and hydrogen storage, filtering, aquifer contamination, well stimulation, and Enhanced Oil Recovery.
ELIGIBILITY:
They invite applications from outstanding candidates with an MSc or MEng in Engineering, who possess a robust mathematical foundation, or those holding an MSc in Applied Mathematics, Pure Mathematics, or Theoretical Physics.
