ELIGIBILITY:

To be eligible, applicants must: 

Have applied to study an eligible programme at the University of Glasgow for the 2026-27 academic session.  

Be domiciled in any country that is not the United Kingdom

Have international or EU fee status

Be classed as a highly qualified applicant; this is usually determined by an ability to demonstrate academic excellence and achieve grades equivalent to UK 1st Class Honours

Be at serious risk due to armed conflict, and/or have been displaced within your home country or forced to leave your home country within the last three years because of armed conflict, and have sought international protection outside the UK.

A stipend of £9,010 per year towards study/living costs

ELIGIBILITY:

The University of Aberdeen is keen to welcome talented students from all over the world. To help students fulfill their academic ambitions and ease the costs associated with studying abroad.

The scholarship is available to all self-funded, full-time on-campus Masters students classified as international fee status and starting their studies in Academic Years 25/26 and 26/27. The scholarship applies to both taught and research Masters. 

To be eligible, students must be registering for a full-time on-campus program and cannot be fully sponsored or in receipt of fully funded external scholarships or other University of Aberdeen scholarships, except for awards granted by the University of Aberdeen Development Trust. Please note that the scholarship does not apply to the DPLP, PGDE, or Dentistry.
