YOUTH WORLD SUMMIT 2026 PARIS, FRANCE

The Youth World Summit 2026 is a global youth conference taking place in Paris, France, from 11 to 14 June 2026, bringing together young leaders, students, professionals, and changemakers to engage in dialogue on youth policy, leadership, peace, and sustainable development. The summit is organized by the Center for International Policy and Sustainability (CIPS).

The Youth World Summit 2026 is open to young people aged 17 to 46 from all countries and backgrounds. They welcome:

Students (undergraduate, graduate, doctoral)

Young professionals and early-career leaders

Entrepreneurs, researchers, activists, and volunteers

Individuals from all academic and professional fields

Nationality, academic discipline, or professional sector is not a barrier—diversity is a core value of the summit.

Selection Criteria:

The scholarship selection process is designed to be transparent, competitive, and merit-based. Applications are reviewed by an independent assessment team to ensure diversity, inclusion, and global representation.

Motivation and Clarity of Purpose

Applicants are evaluated on their motivation and clarity of purpose, showing a clear understanding of their goals and how the program supports their personal and professional development.

Academic, Professional, or Community Engagement

Applicants are considered based on academic, professional, or community engagement, reflecting active participation, dedication, and meaningful experience.

7 DOCTORAL POSITIONS AT THE CLUSTER OF EXCELLENCE “THE POLITICS OF INEQUALITY” BY THE  UNIVERSITÄT KONSTANZ

The Cluster of Excellence “The Politics of Inequality” at the University of Konstanz brings together researchers who study the political causes and consequences of inequality, focusing on how people perceive inequalities, how these perceptions influence collective mobilisation, and how political actors react.

ELIGIBILITY:

The Cluster offers doctoral positions to highly motivated graduates with an outstanding Master’s degree or equivalent, obtained in a field that is relevant to the Cluster’s research agenda. PhD candidates will pursue their doctoral research projects independently or as part of a project team in one of the Cluster’ interdisciplinary research projects.

The deadline for application is 15 April 2026. Candidates interested in applying for the advertised positions should indicate the PhD project they are applying for in both the statement of purpose and on the electronic application form. Accepted applicants will be enrolled in the Graduate School of the Social and Behavioural Sciences according to their main discipline and will specialise in “Inequality Research”.

All applications should be submitted through the online application portal of the University and include a motivation letter, a CV, a letter of reference, certificates, and/or a transcript of records.
