ELIGIBILITY:

You hold a recent Master’s degree (MSc) or an engineering degree (equivalent to 5 years of higher education).

Your academic background includes geosciences, operations, drilling, maintenance and inspection, or process engineering.

You have a strong interest in digital technologies and data.

You are interested in technical professions: you enjoy problem-solving, and your curiosity and open-mindedness enable you to take initiative.

You are able to work in a dynamic, international environment.

You can communicate in professional English, and you understand French or are motivated to learn it quickly.

You are eager to develop an international career in Africa, the Middle East, Asia and the Americas quickly and will pursue your career abroad after this first year in France.

You will start on November 2, 2026, be hired under a permanent contract (CDI), and join the OneTech branch to integrate TotalEnergies and prepared to work in TotalEnergies businesses in countries across the world, working on-site, in subsidiaries, or at industrial facilities.

After a two-week onboarding period at the Paris headquarters and the Technical and Scientific Center in Pau, you will join your team.
Your first year will include several group missions with your intake class (ex : refinery, research center, laboratory, subsidiaries, etc.), giving you a broad overview of the Company and helping you expand your professional network.

A short Learning Expedition at DTU in Denmark is also under consideration, featuring technical challenges on industrial pilot projects. This will give you firsthand exposure to TotalEnergies’ concrete commitment to renewable energies.

2026-27 ISEP POSTGRADUATE TRAINING FELLOWSHIP IN MEDICAL STATISTICS

Two fellowship places funded by the UK Medical Research Council (MRC) are available to support fellows to study for the MSc degree in Medical Statistics at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) in the UK, followed by a placement year. The Fellowships will start in September 2026.

ISEP is working to strengthen capacity through its network of applied statisticians at several African institutions. The ISEP Fellowship Scheme in Medical Statistics is for students from Sub-Saharan Africa to undertake a one-year in-person MSc at London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) in London, followed by a one-year placement at an ISEP partner research center in Africa: The Medical Research Council/Uganda Virus Research Institute and LSHTM Uganda Research Unit in Uganda; Mwanza Intervention Trials Unit (MITU) in Tanzania; Zambia AIDS Related Tuberculosis (ZAMBART) in Zambia; THRU-Zim Biomedical Research Training Institute in Zimbabwe; African Population and Health Research Center (APHRC) in Kenya; The Medical Research Council Unit The Gambia at LSHTM.

ELIGIBILITY:

To be eligible, candidates must:

Be a resident and a national of a country in Sub-Saharan Africa (list).

Be in possession of a 2:1-equivalent degree or above with a background in mathematics, statistics, or a closely related subject.

Have at least one year of work experience in medical statistics or epidemiology.

Be able to meet the English language requirements as set out in the English language requirements policy.

English Language Requirements – Successful applicants must provide evidence to the Admissions team that they meet the English Language proficiency requirement by Monday, 15 June 2026. Failure to do so may result in any scholarship offer being withdrawn and offered to a reserve candidate instead.

Support will not be given as a supplement to other funding, nor to students who have funding from other sources.
