The Archivi.ng Fellowship, a multidisciplinary six-month program designed to enhance the world’s understanding of Nigerian history in engaging and meaningful ways. The fellowship program is looking for historians, ethnographers, journalists, artists, technologists, researchers, writers, filmmakers, content creators, and anyone interested in helping people understand Nigerian history.

ELIGIBILITY:

Apply if you: 

Are curious about Nigerian history and care deeply about helping people understand it in new and interesting ways.

Have a proven record of the successful production of knowledge work.  

Believe that your work contributes to the great body of knowledge that enhances the world’s understanding of Nigeria in new and interesting ways.

Are resident in Nigeria.

Do not have affiliations with any government-owned entities or political parties. 

BENEFIT:

A monthly stipend of ₦500,000 to cover the logistics and production of your work. 

Full access to Archivi.ng’s collections, online and offline.

Personalised mentorship from experts relevant to your project. 

Publication and distribution of your work on Archivi.ng’s platform and other channels.

Collaborative learning circles with fellow participants.

UNIVERSITY OF STRATHCLYDE GLASGOW CHEVENING SCHOLARSHIP

Chevening Scholarships enable outstanding emerging leaders from all over the world to pursue one-year master’s degrees in the UK. Whilst there is no ‘typical’ Chevening Scholarship program. They are looking for the kind of people who have the passion, ideas, and influence to provide the solutions and leadership needed to create a better future.

ELIGIBILITY:
To be eligible for a Chevening Scholarship you must:

Be a citizen of a Chevening-eligible country or territory.

Return to your country of citizenship for a minimum of two years after your award has ended.

Have completed all components of an undergraduate degree that will enable you to gain entry onto a postgraduate programme at a UK university by the time you submit your application. This is typically equivalent to an upper second-class 2:1 honours degree in the UK but may be different depending on your course and university choice.

Have at least two years (equivalent to 2,800 hours) of work experience.

All postgraduate taught programmes open to international applicants are eligible for the award.

Chevening enables outstanding emerging leaders from all over the world to pursue one-year master’s degrees in the UK.

Apply to three different eligible UK university courses and have received an unconditional offer from one of these choices by 11 July 2025.
