BATN FOUNDATION FARMERS FOR THE FUTURE (F4F) GRANT

Are you a serving NYSC member with a viable business idea in agriculture? Are you ready to bring your agribusiness idea to life? The British American Tobacco Nigeria Foundation (BATNF), in partnership with NYSC, wants to hear from you. Apply for the Farmers for the Future (F4F) grant program. The Farmers for the Future (F4F) Grant is an agricultural entrepreneurship grant designed to support young people with viable agribusinesses with equity-free capital and other associated support they may require to scale their businesses.

The online application portal will be available for serving NYSC members with a viable business idea in agriculture for you to send in your applications.

Virtual Bootcamp

20 Selected businesses will go through a rigorous virtual bootcamp where they will refine their business thesis and build a compelling pitch.

Pitch Event & Award

The top 10 businesses from the bootcamp will pitch before a panel of expert judges and investors. 6 winners will be selected.

Mentorship

The 6 winners will be given financing to execute, strengthen, advance and scale their businesses under the guidance of seasoned mentors. They will also be connected to the relevant networks they require to make progress.

HEIRS INSURANCE ESSAY CHAMPIONSHIP 2026

The Heirs Insurance Essay Championship is an annual essay competition open to school students between JSS1 – JSS3 across Nigeria, with the aim of showcasing the creativity and talent of children.

Essay Topic: The Power of Insurance in Creating Safer and More Secure Societies

ELIGIBILITY:

 Open to school students between JSS1 – JSS3 across Nigeria

Participation Details:

Word count: Not more than 500 words.

Essays should be typed and not handwritten.

Students must write their name, school, and class on the essay document.

Document Format: Word document only.

Students must save their essay document with their full name.

Application closes on July 8, 2026. Early submission is advised.

NOTE:

The use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools to generate, rewrite, expand, or substantially assist any part of an entry is strictly prohibited.

Participants must upload their passport photograph and any form of ID when submitting their application form.

To Enter

 Step 1: Execute an insurance awareness initiative in your school or community (E.g. conduct a training, publish an article, etc). 

 Step 2: Ensure that Heirs Insurance Group reflects in your initiative to make it easy for us to track. 

 Step 3: Document your initiative by capturing your impact (Pictures, videos, lesson materials, testimonials etc).

 Step 4: Submit your entry.
