LUND UNIVERSITY GLOBAL SCHOLARSHIP

Application Opens: Early February 2025.

LOCATION: Sweden

Every year, Lund University awards scholarships to a number of new, high-achieving international students. This selective, merit-based scholarship programme is designed to recognise top academic students from outside the EU/EEA who are applying for degree programmes at Lund University.

ELIGIBILITY:

Scholarship recipients are students with a proven track record of consistently high academic performance and a strong fit for Lund University’s programmes. The scholarship is highly selective, competitive, and based entirely on merit.

To be eligible to apply for a scholarship you must meet all of the following criteria:

You must be a citizen of a country from outside the EU/EEA (and Switzerland) and be required to pay tuition fees

You are applying in a regular application round to Master’s level studies leading to a degree at Lund University, or, exceptionally, for one of the Bachelor’s programmes in Development Studies, Mathematics, Physics and Physical Geography. Note that the programme at Lund University that you are applying for a scholarship for should be your first choice in your application at universityadmissions.se.

BENEFIT:

Grants may cover part or all of the tuition fees.

The percentage awarded depends on the programme/faculty budget and does not reflect the student’s academic standing.

Scholarships cover tuition fees only – living costs are not included.

Important Note: Recipients must still meet the Swedish Migration Agency’s requirements by funding their living expenses independently.
