ELIGIBILITY:

To become a Scholar, you must:

Self-identify as Black (African, African-American, African-Canadian, Afro-Caribbean)

Enter directly from high school or transfer from another post-secondary institution

Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or protected person in Canada

Be a strong academic student and meet all UBC admissions requirements

Demonstrate financial need

Apply to a direct-entry undergraduate program at UBC, and not have a previous degree

Up to $20,000/year entering an undergraduate degree.
