UNIVERSITY OF LUXEMBOURG GUILLAUME DUPAIX INTERNATIONAL MASTER’S SCHOLARSHIP

The Luxembourg Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs and the Ministry of Research and Higher Education fund a talent support programme, the Guillaume Dupaix International Master’s Scholarship, to attract high-achieving international students who wish to enrol on a Master’s programme at the University of Luxembourg.

ELIGIBILITY:

International applicants from both EU and non-EU countries applying for a Master’s degree

Only available for Master programmes that run their two-year programme in Luxembourg. Master programmes that have a mandatory semester or year abroad are not eligible.

Excellent academic performance during undergraduate studies

Fulltime students

Non-beneficiaries of Luxembourg’s State Financial Aid for Higher Education (formerly CEDIES)

Finalists should be notified by mid-May 2025 and they will need to confirm acceptance of the scholarship within three working days.

All applicants will receive a final response.

Upon arrival at the University of Luxembourg in September 2025, scholarship recipients will sign a Scholarship Agreement, including a sworn declaration accepting the terms and conditions of the Guillaume Dupaix International Master’s Scholarship.

BENEFIT:

The stipend amounts to around €10,000 per academic year for up to two years.

HZ UNIVERSITY OF APPLIED SCIENCES NL SCHOLARSHIP

LOCATION: Netherlands

The NL Scholarship is financed by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science and Dutch research universities and universities of applied sciences. The NL Scholarship is for incoming students not originally from the EEA who have not previously studied in the Netherlands, and who plan to attend the HZ University of Applied Sciences in the framework of diploma mobility

ELIGIBILITY:

The student is not from the European Economic Area (EEA). The EEA consists of the EU countries and Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway

The student has not previously studied in the Netherlands

The student has an IELTS of 6.5 (or higher) or an equivalent

The student wants to enroll in a full time (four-year or three-year) bachelor’s or the 1.5 year Master programme at HZ

The student has already been (conditionally) accepted to the HZ Bachelor’s or the Master programme indicated with his/her scholarship application. See: how to apply for a Bachelors’ programme

Students can apply for the scholarship by sending an email to study@hz.nl before 1 May of their starting year. In this email, the student should indicate reasons for choosing the particular HZ Bachelor programme of study. The student must also send a copy of his/her CV with the email. The applications will be assessed by a two-member HZ Scholarship Committee, nominated by the academy directors. The HZ Scholarship Committee will award the scholarship based on previous academic results, motivation for choosing programme of study and CV. Applicants will be notified of the decision within 6 weeks after the application deadline of 1 May.

BENEFIT

A value of € 5,000.00 and is allotted for one year only.

Please note: Payments will take place by transferring four instalments of each € 1,250. If you drop out before 1 April 2025, the remaining instalments will not be transferred to you.
