This early acceptance scholarship is awarded to talented international students from Nigeria who intend to pursue a coursework degree at Macquarie University. This scholarship is valid for the full duration of the course.

ELIGIBILITY:

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must be a full-time international student commencing an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree (excluding Graduate Certificates, Bachelor of Clinical Science​, Bachelor of Psychological Sciences (Honours), Doctor of Medicine​, Doctor of Physiotherapy​, Master of Clinical Audiology​, Master of Clinical Psychology, Master of Clinical Neuropsychology, Master of Organisational Psychology​, Master of Professional Psychology, Master of Speech and Language Pathology) and meet the following criteria (Please note: The annual number of scholarship recipients may vary according to the availability of funding and the number of eligible candidates and will only be confirmed when an offer letter is made) :

Be a citizen of Nigeria.

Accept your Letter of Offer and pay the commencement fee by the acceptance deadline.

Remain enrolled in each compulsory study period.

Must not be a recipient of a government sponsorship or scholarship that covers full tuition fees, unless approved by the Macquarie University Scholarship Team.

Applicants will be assessed automatically for this scholarship. Successful candidates will receive the scholarship with their offer letter. To be assessed for this scholarship, please ensure:

You have met the eligibility criteria for the course you have applied for.

BENEFIT:

This scholarship is valued at AUD $5,000 per year for the duration of a bachelor’s or master’s coursework degree. For sessions, AUD $5,000 will be credited in the second session of the first year of enrollment, and AUD $2,500 will be credited in each subsequent session for the duration of the course. For terms, AUD $3,750 will be credited in the third term of the first year of enrollment, and AUD $1,250 will be credited in each subsequent term for the duration of the course.

NATIONAL HIGHER EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP AT THE UNIVERSITY OF SZEGED FACULTY OF ECONOMICS AND BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION, HUNGARY

A National Higher Education Scholarship may be awarded to students with outstanding achievement in studies or outstanding professional work performed in the relevant training period of the academic year 2024-2025, maintaining a high level of study or professional achievement.

ELIGIBILITY:

Students taking part in a state-funded (including scholarship and part-scholarship) or fee-paying full-time undergraduate, master’s, or undivided training program who have been, or were—during earlier studies—enrolled for at least two semesters and have earned at least 55 credits may apply for a National Higher Education Scholarship.

In accordance with the provisions of the ANHE, students who pursue their master’s degree after undergraduate education, provided that they meet the other conditions for obtaining a National Higher Education Scholarship, may apply for a National Higher Education Scholarship in line with the call.

Under the provisions of the ANHE, the option to apply for a National Higher Education Scholarship is available on a continuous basis to all students who intend to continue their higher education studies as degree-changing students in the semester following the application, during the disbursement period.

108 student applications are expected to be accepted by the University of Szeged.

Conditions of the application according to the National Higher Education Scholarship Rules of the University of Szeged (hereinafter referred to as “Regulation”): a) outstanding academic achievement, b) outstanding work in a professional field, c) public, sport and other activities.

For the assessment of outstanding academic performance, the student must achieve at least 90% of the 100% academic achievement recorded for the faculty concerned.

For the assessment of outstanding work in the professional field, the student will be evaluated according to the specificities of the faculty by the following: scientific and artistic activities, scientific conference placements, demonstrator activities, publications, participation in research, Only the results described on the application form and supported by a copy of the documents attached to the application may be evaluated. The faculty committees may evaluate achievements beyond the language examination required for the award of the degree.

In addition, performance concerning social life, sports, and other activities may be included in the assessment of overall student performance to an extent not exceeding 10%.

BENEFIT:

The National Higher Education Scholarship is for a full academic year, i.e., for 10 months, and amounts to HUF 40,000 per month
