The Parkinson Society of Nova Scotia established this fund to provide financial support to a graduate student who is researching the genetics of Parkinson’s disease, the mechanisms of the disease, and/or treatments to reverse or counteract the biological processes that cause the disease.
ELIGIBILITY:
Bursary type: In-program
Degree level: All master’s or doctoral
Available to: Canadian or International graduate students
You must be enrolled in a graduate studies program.
You must demonstrate financial need.
Your project will be in the field of learning more about triggers and/or cellular changes that influence the development of Parkinson’s.
BENEFIT:
A bursary of $2,000 will be awarded at each competition.
