ELIGIBILITY:

This scholarship was established in 2023 using bequest funds to honour the memories of John Gurner and Frederick Ebsworth. The scholarship is intended to support students enrolled in the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) program in the Faculty of Science at the University of Sydney.

You must:

Be international student

Be commencing or be currently enrolled full time in a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program within the Sydney School of Veterinary Science.

The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of:

Academic merit and
A personal statement outlining the impact of the scholarship on their ability to study at the University of Sydney.

The Scholarship will be awarded by the Head of School of the School of Veterinary Science, or their nominated delegate(s).

Deferral of the scholarship is not permitted without the prior permission of the Head of School of the School of Veterinary Science, and it is not transferable to another university school, faculty, or university without prior approval.
