The MTN ICT and Business Skills Training Programme empowers young Nigerian microbusiness owners aged 18–35 with practical, tech-driven, and digital skills to help their businesses thrive in today’s fast-paced economy.
ELIGIBILITY:
In this Phase 8, the training will run for five weeks using a blended-learning approach that combines self-paced online modules, instructor-led sessions, masterclasses from seasoned entrepreneurs, and a capstone project challenge. Participants will receive data support to ensure a seamless learning experience towards applying new skills to their businesses.
Age: Nigerian female, age 18–35
Business: Owns and manages a micro business operational for no more than 2 years
Location: Business located in Rivers, Abia, Ogun, Kwara, Kano, or Gombe state
BENEFIT:
The top 100 participants will receive up to ₦1,000,000 in equipment grants from a ₦100,000,000 fund. Over previous phases the programme has delivered measurable impact across diverse sectors, helping microbusinesses scale and adopt digital practices.
Phase 8 will train 3,000 female microbusiness owners from Rivers, Abia, Ogun, Kwara, Kano, and Gombe states.
