UNIVERSITY OF NEW ENGLAND SCHOOL OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY PHD SCHOLARSHIP

UNE is currently seeking a PhD candidate to work on this exciting project in the School of Science and Technology. This scholarship opportunity is open to both domestic and international applicants, which will be funded jointly by Cogninet Australia and the University of New England.

The project is looking at developing research-based models for data analytics using AI and Machine learning techniques in the domains of medical and educational data analytics. 

ELIGIBILITY:

Applicants should have a computer science background with sound Python programming skills. Students must also be available for industry partner engagements and an internship as part of their studies.

BENEFIT:

The annual stipend value is $36,862 per annum (2025 rate), tax-free, which is paid to the candidate in fortnightly instalments.

The scholarship is tenable for three years and six months (3.5) full-time for a doctoral degree.

The scholarship will also cover tuition fees and Single Overseas Health Cover for international candidates.
