MONASH UNIVERSITY, INDONESIA FUTURE LEADER SCHOLARSHIP

LOCATION: Indonesia

 The Monash University, Indonesia Future Leader Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship for exceptional candidates who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement and clear leadership potential in their field.

ELIGIBILITY:

Eligibility is based on a combination of academic excellence and demonstrated leadership capability.

Academics: Candidates must have an outstanding previous academic record, defined as a GPA greater than 3.7 out of 4.0 (or equivalent).

Leadership Potential: Candidates must submit a personal statement and a video submission (maximum 3 minutes). These submissions must detail your leadership experience and how you plan to create a positive impact in Indonesia post-graduation.

Interview: Shortlisted candidates must pass an interview with the Head of Program and a selection panel.

Availability: There is one scholarship quota available for every Postgraduate (PG) course offered at Monash University Indonesia (MUI).

Unlike automatic merit awards, this scholarship requires a specific submission to demonstrate your leadership capabilities.

50% Tuition Fee Waiver: This scholarship provides a 50% tuition fee waiver for the first year of study (e.g., first two semesters).

JEMILA ABUBAKAR MEMORIAL ESSAY COMPETITION (JAME) 6TH EDITION

Application Deadline: 14th December, 2025 (11:59pm)

LOCATION: Nigeria

The 6th Edition of the Jemila Abubakar Memorial Essay Competition (JAME) is open for application. Undergraduates in any Nigerian tertiary institution are encouraged to apply.

Theme: Mental Health and Career Adaptability in a Dynamic Work Environment

ELIGIBILITY:

Applicants should be undergraduates in any Nigerian tertiary institution 

Applicants must be able to provide proof of studentship

Applicants must sign the Asido Foundation’s Unashamed pledge (asidofoundation.com/unashamed)

The essay word count should range from a minimum of 750 to a maximum of 1000 words

The essay should be in the Microsoft Word Doc format

You are required to upload a scanned copy of a recent photograph and proof of studentship. and a certificate of your unashamed pledge.

Submitting an AI-generated essay and plagiarism in ANY FORM will lead to automatic disqualification 

Application opens 14th November and closes 14th December, 2025 (11:59pm)

The top 3 winners are required to be at the award ceremony, set to take place on the 25th of February, 2025, at the International Conference Center, University of Ibadan, Ibadan.
