NEWCASTLE UNIVERSITY BUSINESS SCHOOL MBA DEVELOPING TALENT AND LEADERSHIP SCHOLARSHIP (SEPTEMBER 2025)

Newcastle University will transform and support MBA candidates who can shape an organisation’s future. Their Developing Talent and Leadership Scholarship will reward MBA candidates who are results-orientated, customer-focused, and can demonstrate leadership qualities and values.

ELIGIBILITY:

To be eligible for this partial-fee scholarship, you must meet the following criteria (MBA Partial Fee Scholarship Regulations – 2025 entry):

can demonstrate (through application and at interview) substantive managerial experience and good leadership potential for the future

hold an offer (conditional or unconditional) for admission in September 2025 to the Full-time MBA programme

have substantive managerial experience of 3 years or more

hold the equivalent of a UK 2:1 honours degree (applicants who do not meet this requirement but can demonstrate relevant work experience above the minimum plus significant career progression may also be considered)

perform well at interview across all competency areas

hold an English language qualification of IELTS 6.5 or its equivalent with no subskill below 6.0 (if your first language is not English).

No application is required. All candidates will be assessed at the point of interview for this scholarship. The amount offered will be confirmed to candidates via email once they have received their course offer.

BENEFIT:

Value of award: Awards of up to £16,300, payable towards the cost of tuition fees.

Number of awards: Up to 12 awards are available.

Start date and duration: September 2025 for one year of study

DALHOUSIE UNIVERSITY ABDUL MAJID BADER GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP

LOCATION: Canada

Dalhousie University is inviting exceptional Iranian or International students to apply for the Abdul Majid Bader Graduate Scholarship. The scholarship is renewable, subject to an annual progress review. The award can be held for a maximum of 24 months of full-time study. Fees are not waived and must be paid out of the prize.

ELIGIBILITY:

Applicants from Iran will be given first preference for the award, with international students being considered if there are no Iranian candidates. 

Students with first-class academic standing (>3.7/4.3)  in their last two years of academic study may apply. Preference is given to students who have not yet started their degree or are in the first year of their PhD program at the time of application.

Students enrolled in a master’s program at the time of application are not eligible to apply.

Students who have applied to master’s programs are eligible to apply.

Students who are enrolled in or have applied to doctoral programs are eligible to apply.

Applications for the Bader scholarship are received through the Harmonized Scholarship Process

Applicants who indicate Iranian citizenship in their Harmonized Scholarship application will be automatically entered into the competition for this award.

One new award is made each year.

BENEFIT:

The scholarship is valued at $40,000 for one 12-month academic year of full-time study. One new award is made each year. Current award holders must contact fgs.slo@dal.ca by August 1st to apply for renewal.
