ART street Regular Illustration Contest
The theme for February is “Students” !Studying, doing some club activities, hanging out with friends and falling in love… Our school days are filled with precious memories! Any scene from the lives of students growing up can be turned into a beautiful piece of art. They are calling for illustrations on the theme of “Students”! Boys and girls, show your beautiful student illustrations! They are waiting for your illustration entries!

ELIGIBILITY:

Languages: Japanese/English/Spanish/Chinese(Traditional)

Entry Format : JPG, PNG, PSD, MDP(File size: Under 30MB)
No designated size, but the DPI must be at least 300

Anyone can enter the contest, regardless of whether they are a professional artist or artist by hobby.

Contestants are welcome to submit multiple works.

Only original works that contenders own all the rights to and free for distribution may be submitted.

You may enter an artwork you have posted on social medias such as Twitter in the past. You can also post your contest artworks on social media during the entry period.

You can submit any artwork that is drawn by any paint tool applications (including MediBang Paint) in analog and digital.

BENEFIT:

Grand Prize(1 winner max):50,000 JPY
Excellence Award(3 winners max):10,000 JPY
Best School Girl Award(1 winner max):10,000 JPY
Best School Boy Award(1 winner max):10,000 JPY

UNHCR NANSEN REFUGEE NOMINATION  AWARD

The UNHCR Nansen Refugee Award is presented every year to an individual or organization that has dedicated their time to help people forcibly displaced from their homes, referred to as the global laureate.

ELIGIBILITY:

Any individual, group of people or organization that has done extraordinary humanitarian work on behalf of refugees, displaced or stateless people is eligible – with the exception of former and current UNHCR staff, including United Nations Volunteers (UNVs) working for UNHCR offices, are ineligible.

Self-nominations are strongly discouraged. This includes individuals and organizations nominating themselves.

Nominees are considered in the following light:

The deed for which the person/entity is nominated should take place outside the framework of normal professional duties and go beyond the call of duty;

It should demonstrate courage, compassion and solidarity;

It should raise awareness  for displaced people; and

It should reflect the values of UNHCR.

BENEFIT:

The 2024 global laureate will receive a commemorative medal and a monetary prize of US$100,000 to be reinvested in the humanitarian initiatives for which they are being recognized.

Regional winners also received some financial or material support to further their humanitarian work.
