SOAS INTERNATIONAL ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPS 

LOCATION: England

SOAS will be awarding 10 International Academic Excellence Scholarships worth £5,000 to students from around the world. 

ELIGIBILITY:

You must have applied for an undergraduate degree for September 2025 (the scholarship selection panel will only be able to award a scholarship to those applicants who have received an offer by 31 May 2025)

You must be an overseas fee-paying student

Have achieved or be predicted to achieve AAB in UK A Levels or the international equivalent

Apply for the International Academic Excellence Scholarship via our online form. You should save a copy of your application form for your records. 

Successful applicants with an offer to study at SOAS will be notified by July 1.

AFRICA COMMUNITY SCHOLARSHIP (SEPTEMBER 2025) AT THE UNIVERSITY OF DUNDEE, SCOTLAND

The University of Dundee is offering scholarships for the first year of study for applicants living in Africa. This is a one-off top-up scholarship for applicants who meet the application requirements. You do not have to submit an application for this scholarship.

The University Admissions team will automatically assess your personal information provided to confirm your eligibility for this award.

ELIGIBILITY:

Country: Algeria, Angola, Benin, Botswana, British Indian Ocean Territory, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Congo, Congo (Democratic Republic), Djibouti, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Eswatini, Ethiopia, Gabon, Ghana, Guinea-Bissau, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Libya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mauritius, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Rwanda, Sao Tome and Principe, Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, South Sudan, St Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha, Sudan, Tanzania, The Gambia, Togo, Tunisia, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe

Level of study: Postgraduate, Undergraduate

To be considered for an award, you must:

Have been awarded one of the following scholarships:

Vice-Chancellor’s Africa Scholarship, or

Global Excellence Scholarship.

Have submitted an application to study at the University of Dundee for September 2025, and received an Offer for a full-time, on campus Course. Please see our Key Facts and Terms and Conditions documents below for exclusions.

Hold International Fee Status as determined by the University of Dundee, which is communicated in your Offer letter.

Be currently residing in an African country as highlighted in the country list above.
