PROVIDUS BANK SME PROGRAM 4th COHORT

ProvidusBank in partnership with Enterprise Development Centre has created the ProvidusBank SME Program to build the capacity of business owners in Nigeria and provide them with the skills and competencies for the development of long-term strategic plans to transform their businesses and drive profitability.

ELIGIBILITY:

Business Owner must be a citizen or legal resident of Nigeria.

The Business must be based and registered with the CAC in Nigeria.

The Business must be for-profit from any sector.

Applicant must be available to commit to the training schedule once accepted

Operated for at least 5 years

Sales/turnover of at least 25 – 50 million naira

Develop a growth plan for their businesses

Develop the leadership capacity of the participants to effectively lead their teams

Clearly define the value proposition of your business

Interact with like-minded entrepreneurs which enables sharing ideas and industry best practices

EQUATOR INITIATIVE PRIZE: CALL FOR NOMINATION

The Equator Initiative is a United Nations-led partnership that brings together governments, civil society, grassroots organizations, and businesses to foster resilient communities by recognizing and advancing local nature-based solutions for sustainable development. Equator Prize 2024 Theme:  Nature for Climate Action:

ELIGIBILITY:

The initiative must have been in existence for at least three years, and/or the actions taken must have been in place for at least three years.

The nominee must be either a local community-based initiative, operating in a rural area, based in a country receiving support from the United Nations Development Programme (for a list of eligible countries, please click here); or an initiative led by Indigenous peoples in any country, operating in a rural area.

The actions taken by the nominee must be nature-based and must deliver benefits related to two or more Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

BENEFIT:

Each Equator Prize winner will receive USD 10,000 and will be supported to participate in a series of policy dialogues and special events in the fall of 2024.
