UNU-MERIT MIGRATION MANAGEMENT DIPLOMA PROGRAMME (MMDP)

LOCATION: The Netherland

This program is designed for government officials and policymakers working in migration and asylum.  This full-time, three-month program uses various teaching and evaluation methods, including lectures, interactive sessions, and hands-on practical exercises, with a special focus on the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) method.

ELIGIBILITY:

Eligible applicants for participation in the MMDP programme must fulfil the following criteria:

Fluency in spoken and written English

Hold a minimum Bachelor’s university degree

Applicants must be confident in computer skills to follow an education programme

Work as government officials in the field of migration and/or asylum in one of the eligible countries (see Scholarships section for list of countries)

BENEFIT:

Scholarships for the MMDP are available for government officials and policy practitioners who work in the field of migration and/or asylum in specific eligible countries. Scholarships funded by the European Union through the Migration Partnership Facility (MPF) of the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD), are available to applicants from eligible countries in the following regions: EU Southern Neighbourhood, Sub-Saharan Africa, Central Asia and Silk Route countries.

UNIVERSITY OF OXFORD EXECUTIVE DIPLOMA SCHOLARSHIPS FOR WOMEN

LOCATION: England

Encouraging an increase in women considering senior leadership roles. They have two scholarships available for exceptional female candidates in each diploma cohort.  The awards are accompanied by a financial contribution covering 50% of the diploma programme fees

ELIGIBILITY:

Open to female applicants.

Academic achievement (assessed through CV, transcripts, and the scholarship statement). 

Professional achievement; in particular, evidence of leadership or leadership potential (assessed through CV and the scholarship statement). 

A desire to inspire/act as a role model (assessed through the scholarship statement). 

A readiness and enthusiasm to become a committed ambassador for the School, representing the School’s values, whilst on the programme and beyond (assessed through scholarship statement). 

You must submit a completed diploma application and upload a supporting statement (maximum 500 words) in the ‘Funding’ section of the programme application form, addressing how you meet the scholarship selection criteria. 

BENEFIT:

50% of programme fees.
