UNIVERSITY OF ST. ANDREWS SNOWDON TRUST MASTERS SCHOLARSHIP

The Snowdon Master’s Scholarship has been designed to accelerate the most exceptional disabled students through master’s studies and into leadership in all its forms, to be visible role models and drive disability inclusion. The influencers of the future.

ELIGIBILITY:

Applicant should be enrolled on a postgraduate program at the University of St Andrews.

The award is available to impaired students, both domestically and abroad, who can effect change. This includes academic brilliance in a selected field of study or the capacity to show leadership in the workplace or extracurricular activities.

Outstanding leaders who can effect change both inside and outside of their academic discipline People who have demonstrated greatness in their chosen fields

Those who have proved to be driven to succeed and who have leadership potential.

Candidate must have the capacity to lead disability issues and bring about change.

Applicant should have demonstrated success in the workplace, in school, or in voluntary work.

BENEFIT:

The Snowdon Master’s Scholarship is worth up to £30,000 payable as contribution of up to £15,000 towards fees paid directly to your university, and a further £15,000 paid to you in termly instalments to cover living expenses over the duration of your Master’s study.

CONCORDIA UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE SCHOLARSHIP

LOCATION: Canada

Concordia offers entrance scholarships to bachelor’s admission candidates every Fall. Entrance Scholarships are awarded by the Faculties to new admission candidates on the basis of top Cegep grades or equivalent (Canadian high school etc.). An offer of admission to Concordia does not guarantee selection for an Entrance Scholarship.

ELIGIBILITY:

Entrance scholarships are available to full-time students entering university studies for the first time, based on completion of CEGEP, Canadian High School or College, or equivalent

Candidates must be admitted to a Bachelor’s program

These awards are not available to students Visiting students, Independent students or students admitted to Certificate programs 

For Faculty of Fine Arts programs requiring submission of a portfolio for admission, selection is based on the portfolio and not grades achieved before admission,

BENEFIT:

Partial or Full tuition waive. Scholarships are disbursed to students’ University accounts following verification of registration after the registration/course drop period ends. Most of these awards are payable in two equal installments over the Fall and Winter terms.
