UNIVERSITY COLLEGE LONDON, GLOBAL HEALTHCARE LEADERS POSTGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP

The Global Healthcare Leaders scholarship is for students who show exceptional leadership potential in their fields and want to make a difference in healthcare.

ELIGIBILITY:

Applicants must demonstrate academic excellence and exceptional leadership potential.

Applicants must have applied to study one of the following courses starting in September 2026:

Biotech and Pharmaceutical Management MSc

Digital Health and Entrepreneurship MSc

Global Healthcare Management (Analytics) MSc

Global Healthcare Management (Finance) MSc

Global Healthcare Management (Leadership) MSc

Applicants can be based in the UK or overseas.

To apply for this scholarship, candidates must submit a 500-word essay demonstrating how they will make a difference in healthcare.

Scholarships will be awarded throughout the admissions cycle, but only a limited number are available, so we recommend applying as early as possible.

Candidates are to submit their full application for Biotech and Pharmaceutical Management MSc, Digital Health and Entrepreneurship MSc, Global Healthcare Management (Analytics) MSc, Global Healthcare Management (Finance) MSc, or Global Healthcare Management (Leadership) MSc.

Candidates can apply for more than one scholarship, but if successful, only one scholarship will be awarded.  Candidates are to submit an application form for each scholarship they wish to apply for.

BENEFIT:

£10,000 is awarded to successful candidates with UK fee status. £15,000 is awarded to successful candidates with Overseas fee status.

UNIVERSITY OF KENT AHRC DOCTORAL SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS (ARTS AND HUMANITIES RESEARCH COUNCIL)

These prestigious AHRC awards will fund three doctoral researchers each year from 2026-2028. Successful candidates will join a vibrant and inclusive research community, benefiting from exceptional academic supervision, tailored professional development, and cross-institutional collaboration through a training hub network comprising eleven outstanding universities in the South East and South West of England.

ELIGIBILITY:

This award is open to both UK residents and international (this includes EU) candidates.

In order to receive AHRC funding, you must have qualifications/experience equal to the standard of a good honours degree at a first or upper second class level from a UK academic research organisation. Degree qualifications gained from outside the UK, or a combination of qualifications and/or experience that is equivalent to a relevant UK degree, may be accepted.

If a candidate does not meet the criteria above, they would be classed as an international student.

AHRC Doctoral Landscape Awards are offered under UKRI terms and conditions. In line with funder requirements, the majority of awards will be allocated to Home candidates, with up to one-third available for overseas applicants per year. 

In accordance with AHRC eligibility requirements, applicants who have already commenced doctoral study are not eligible for an AHRC Doctoral Landscape Award studentship.

AHRC offers both full-time and part-time study.

Awards will be offered for a minimum of 3.5 years (full-time equivalent) with the opportunity to extend up to 4 years to support researcher development opportunities such as placements or additional skills development. 

Doctoral projects must be structured and supervised to ensure that researchers can complete and submit their thesis within the agreed funded period established at the start of the project. Both full-time and part-time modes of study are eligible.

BENEFIT:

These scholarships include a doctoral stipend (equivalent to the Research Councils UK National Minimum Doctoral Stipend, £20,780.) Tuition fees at the home rate and access to further research funding on application. If you are applying as an international candidate, Kent will waive the difference between Home and International fees.
