UNIVERSITY OF OXFORD CLARENDON SCHOLARSHIP FUND FOR POSTGRADUATE AND DPHIL STUDIES

The University of Oxford is pleased to offer the Clarendon Fund for Graduate Studies. The purpose is to assist academically outstanding graduate students through their studies at the University of Oxford.

ELIGIBILITY:

There are no restrictions by nationality or country of ordinary residence.

All full-time DPhil and Master’s courses are eligible, as long as you have applied by the December or January deadline, whichever is relevant for your course. A list of all the graduate courses offered by the University of Oxford can be found on the courses page. Clarendon supports scholars from across the University, with no restrictions on subject area.

Candidates applying to start a new DPhil or Master’s course at Oxford are eligible. This includes students who are currently studying for a Master’s degree at Oxford but who will be re-applying for a DPhil or applying for a second Master’s course.

BENEFIT:

Clarendon scholarships cover course fees in full.  This applies to Home and Overseas fee status students.

Scholars on a full-time course will receive an annual grant for living expenses of at least the UKRI minimum doctoral stipend rate, which is normally sufficient to cover the living costs of a single student living in Oxford. In 2023-24, scholars receive at least £18,622.

CITY UNIVERSITY OF LONDON SCHOOL OF HEALTH & PSYCHOLOGICAL SCIENCES INTERNATIONAL EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP (IES)

International Excellence Scholarships of £1,000 to £5,000 are offered to outstanding international students applying for a place on selected post-registration MSc programmes in the School of Health & Psychological Sciences. The scholarships will be awarded to applicants who demonstrate academic or clinical/professional excellence.

ELIGIBILITY:

Applicants for the International Excellence Scholarship must:

Have an offer of a full-time place on one of the School’s MSc programmes. Applicants for the PG Certificate or PG Diploma are not eligible.

Be self-funded and not in receipt of any other scholarships (except the Graduate Loyalty Discount).

Please note that this does not include the following pre-registration courses (for information on the Scholarships available to you, please contact the pre-registration team at ug.prereghealth@city.ac.uk):

MSc Speech and Language Therapy

MSc Adult, Mental Health or Child Health Nursing

Applications are considered on a rolling basis during the academic year.

Please note you must have an unconditional offer before applying.
