UNIVERSITY OF TURIN TALENTS 4 UNITO: CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR 38 SCHOLARSHIPS FOR INTERNATIONAL POSTGRADUATE DEGREES STUDENTS

For International Students who wish to enroll in the first year of a postgraduate degree without a restricted number of places taught in English listed in this call. The scholarship awarded is incompatible with any other scholarship granted by the Italian government or by Italian or foreign institutions, including those of the regional right to study (EDISU). Student beneficiaries are obliged, on their own responsibility, to inform the International Students Office if they are awarded other scholarships.

ELIGIBILITY:

To participate in the selection, candidates must meet the following requirements:

have obtained, at an institution outside the Italian system, a degree valid for access to the chosen postgraduate degree, or obtain it by the deadline for enrolment at the University of Turin;

meet the requirements for admission to the chosen course (check the admission requirements for the course of interest at apply.unito.it);

have submitted their application for a maximum of 2 (two) courses of interest on the apply.unito.it platform from 26 November 2024 to 30 January 2025;

be proficient in English at least the B2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

BENEFIT:

The total amount of the scholarship is €20,000.00 gross. Any tax charges incurred by the recipient (€10,000 for each academic year).

GRADUATE SCHOOL OF CHINESE ACADEMY OF AGRICULTURAL SCIENCES SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

GSCAAS Scholarship is established by GSCAAS to sponsor distinguished international students and scholars with excellent academic performance to pursue higher degrees or conduct research in CAAS.

ELIGIBILITY:

Applicants must be non-Chinese nationals.

Applicants must be in good health.

Education background and age limit as below: 

Applicants for Master degree must have Bachelor’s degree and be under the age of 35.

Applicants for Ph.D. degree must have a Master degree and be under the age of 40.

Visiting scholars must have completed at least two years of undergraduate studies and be under the age of 45.

Senior visiting scholars must have Master or higher degree or hold academic titles of associate professor or higher, and be under the age of 50.

International students who have received scholarships from the Chinese government or Beijing government are not eligible for the scholarship.

Applicants shall apply to the Graduate School of CAAS before May 31 for autumn semester or December 31 for spring semester. Visiting scholars could apply all year round.

The Graduate School of CAAS will review all the application materials and send the Admission Notice and Visa Application Form for Study in China (Form JW201/JW202) to the qualified applicants by July 31 or January 31.

Highest diploma (notarized photocopy).

Academic transcripts of the most advanced studies (notarized photocopy).

Two reference letters from at least two Associate Professors or experts with equal titles in related fields.

A study or research plan (no less than 400 words for visiting study, no less than 500 words for postgraduates).

List of publications: If any of these documents is written in a language other than English or Chinese, an official certified translation of the document must be included.

Verification of current employer or working unit.

BENEFIT:

The winners are exempt from full tuition for the specific academic year and free dormitory. Supervisor will support research assistant fellowship.
