AFTERSHOOT CREATE TOGETHER FUND

The Aftershoot Create Together Fund is a $1 million grant program to build thriving photography communities worldwide.

They believe in creating an environment where photographers inspire, educate, and challenge each other, enabling creativity to thrive through connection and collaboration. The Fund aims to bring these communities to life through meaningful in-person experiences.

ELIGIBILITY:

Active professional photographers

Emerging photography community leaders

Photography educators

Applicants should meet at least one of the following criteria:
Active event or wedding photographer with a portfolio of recent work

Experience in photography education (online or offline)

Leader of an existing photography community or network Interested in or beginning to explore hosting photography-related workshops, events, or meetups – Instructor at a photography school or educational institution

BENEFIT:

$1,000,000 in total funding will be allocated to community leaders, enabling them to organize impactful events, workshops, and initiatives that nurture the photographic community.

EMERGING YOUTH CREATIVE LEADERS: FUNDING & MENTORSHIP FOR THE TRUE BLUE FELLOWSHIP

The True Blue Fellowship (formerly the Fellowship Grant Program) aims to connect and empower youth around the world to leverage the creative arts to enact change in local communities to safeguard the ocean, waterways, and climate. If you want to make a difference in your community, we invite you to participate in the True Blue Fellowship! 

ELIGIBILITY:

This program is open to young people worldwide ages 13-24; however, applications must be in English.

Proof of age, identity, or eligibility may be required after application submission.

Applications may be submitted by an individual or by a group of unlimited size. Groups must select one group leader to serve as the primary contact. 

Projects may be new or emerging (no older than 2 years).

Projects utilize the creative arts as its primary method to enact change.

Projects are related to safeguarding the ocean, waterways, and/or the climate.

Only one application per youth is permitted. However, youth may submit to other Bow Seat programs such as the Ocean Awareness Contest.

BENEFIT:

Funding up to $2,500 USD

Access to a community of other Fellows and Capacity Building Programs

Mentorship and support from the Future Blue Youth Council and Bow Seat Staff
